[AMRadio] low power amplifier question for am

Ok, I will bite.
How would you burn out something running any legal power on AM?
Did you have something connected directly to the antenna?

I don't think its possible to blow up things in the house running 1500 watts 
pep...
Maybe move the antenna, or increase the height.

I had my 80 meter antenna lengthwise over the house, about 20 feet from the 
roof, and used to run
over 3000 watts pep. I got into SOME of the phones, but never burnt anything 
out.

The Titan runs two 4cx800 tubes, and if the power supply is good for it, it 
can do about 800 watts carrier out?
I have run that power level and nothing ever burnt out.

Two 813's will do about 125 watts carrier on AM, 4 will do 250 watts, at 
over 3000 volts.
Very rugged tubes.
