In 1956, I used 10 6AG7's military grade in an amplifier with a Central
Electronics 20A. They were mounted on a rectangle cake pan and worked very
well as long as I tuned up with very low power. Still a wonderful memory
for me. Receiver was a 75A4. I was 17 years old. Sorry that I don't have
the circuit any more.

Subject: [AMRadio] Grounded grid amp
Many years (decades) ago I saw a small amp using 5 x 6AG7 in parallel using
grounded grid. Very simple and elegant design. Perhaps it was in QST but I
may be mistaken. Anyone has any info? I would like to build a 50-100 watts
amp to boost an ARC 5.
