Yes, really sad.  I knew them both.  I still have a box of brand new
control relays and a 24v xfmr Dan sent me for my Gates BC-1T.  I
talked to John on the air (AM) many times testing mics/audio stuff on
his Flex, and the one I had...  Good folk.
