  I am planning on joining in on the contest but I wonder if going on in the daytime will do any good.  I will be using an RCA BTA 500 MX that I converted this summer.  I have worked 11 states with it this winter but only at night.  I live in Richmond Ky which is in central Ky.  I operate on 1885 and so far not made any daytime QSOs.  I'm thinking I should reach at least the Cincinnatti area in the daytime.  Hopefully there will be a few AMers on 1885 during the day.  73 Rich
