I have to admit that I never worked much on the HQ-110. A careful 
align,ent and inspection may have solved the drift issue. I'm 
delifgh==ghted that the ones noted here are so stable!

I've been listening to CW on my HQ-170 this evening and it's very 
stable, though not nearly as selective as my Orion II.

My cat had been sitting on it (boat anchors are cat magnets on winter 
nights) and when she left, the change in shape and stresses on the 
case caused a slight, but noticeable, frequency change! I's still 
rock stable, just at a frequency that's different by about 20 Hz.

Yes, once again it's the cat's fault...
