I would put the feedline wire in the groove on the outside and use a "tie 
wire" through the hole and wrapped around the feedline wire.  Much easier, 
let's you change the spacing easily later if you need to, and is VERY secure 
if wrapped tightly.  Be sure to use the same type of wire to avoid problems 
with corrosion!!
