The odd thing about this signal was it sounded like voice over music, a 
commercial that did not have breaks as one would hear from commercial BC 
station.  It did not sound like a dispatcher.  The signal sounded 
processed with good bass and treble reproduction.  It did not last long 
before fading out.

The other odd thing was the strongest direction was almost direct South 
rather than SE which is were Caribbean stations should originate.  The 
signal was about S8 on the Icom, lasting about 5 mins.  I have haunted 
around 10 meters for many years, over 40, and never heard anything like 
this one.
