I have done that from the very beginning, in fact the transmitter fed
a dummy load exclusively for more than a week as I went through the
process of getting the station up and running. The problem shows up
only occasionally, when running on a dummy load. I have a field
strength meter and the level of RF in the shack, while present, is
very low, no higher than with my rice boxes and Collins station, none
of which are affected... or my computers (3 of them), two of which
are very susceptible to RF interference and show no ill effects.

Thinking it might be related to SWR, I put a tuner in the line
immediately after the transmitter and tuned to 1:1 SWR, no beneficial effect.

Right now I'm waiting until my 6146A's show up, to replace the
6146B's that are in there now, and will take it from there.
