[AMRadio] DX-100B on Phone - bad audio distortion / oscillation

Like when Todd corrected me concerning the handles of the Collins KW-1.

I knew that they were there for a purpose: to grab them when having a
earthquake, like
the one in Frisco when a KW-1 fell to the floor - does anyone remember who
that was? However, I was in midst of a negotiation to trade mine for a used
1957 Corvette, so please excuse me.
