When the ARRL quits promoting those "clutter the band" contests held on
every weekend of the year, then, and only then, might I reconsider joining
the ARRL..
Also even more stupid - if that is possible - those special event stations:
like the one I heard the other day on 20 meters: "celebrating the 5th
anniversary of my wife leaving me."
And then the most stupid of stupids is when some slopbucket station saying
that AM should be banned. Does that ever tighten my britches.
