[AMRadio] Must have survived the EMP

Was flipping channels on the TV last night and stumbled across the end of a show called Falling Skies.  Apparently the WRL Globe Scout 65(think I had the model correct) was still a useful device in this sci-fi show.  He was using the PA Tune control to tune it to some freq that would jam the comm link of a bunch of robots, perhaps the harmonic output was so great it came in useful for that function.  It was a nice looking TX, they even had a close up of the plate meter and front panel where you could clearly see the WRL inscription.  Wonder where they got it?  Could there be a treasure trove of antique radio gear hiding in studio warehouses?
