Please consider a 50 foot crank-up, hinged base Aluminum Tower. I had one from 
Aluma in Vero Beach Fl when I lived there. 

It was very rugged and easy to raise and lower. In my 60's I realized I could no 
longer climb the ROHN 25 tower and sold it. 

I was very happy with the Aluminum tower. I wish I had one now.

While we're talking towers, does anyone know of a tower person in the  area 
of Paw Paw, WV?  This is near Berkley Springs, Romney and about thirty  
minutes from Winchester, VA.  I recently bought some property there and am  
looking to raise something like 50 feet or so.  I don't have the tower yet  but 
I have a NIB A3S Cushcraft and a used 40 meter kit for it. I am also in 
need  of a rotator to handle that configuration. I have a couple of used ones 
but  would have to have them rebuilt.  I am not asking for handouts or free  
labor. I am looking for someone with experience who is willing to take 
charge of  the project and get paid a reasonable price for the help. I  will 
assist to the limits of my expertise and physical ability, and I  can possibly 
get one more person if needed. I can provide food, drink and  accommodations 
if needed.  No alcohol, including 807s, until the job is  done. Then we'll 
christen it with whatever you prefer.

There is no rush on this but I would like to start lining things up and get 
an idea of costs. I'm thinking
crank up/tilt over so I can do any future work without having to  climb 
anything more than an 8 foot step ladder.
