If these are the ones used in the output pi network on 160M and 80M, then
I've had good luck replacing each with a series/parallel combination of 4
of the large silver mica caps, called "snubber caps," from Mouser. They
are each 5/8" by 3/8" (approximately). Did it in a Valiant for my friend
KB1IAW about 6 years ago - he uses the rig all the time on those bands and
they haven't failed to date.
