The audio more / carrier less tactic works but only up to a point
depending on the detection method in the receiver.  Modern rx can
handle high positive peaks to mod.% that get to be sounding
obnoxiously loud (in my opinion).   BA rx with envelope detectors will
fall apart demodulating such a signal.  I recommend a compromise at
110 or 115% positive if not 100 up and down.
