[AMRadio] coax lead in

I use a PVC cap on the end of the pipe.
The cap has a hole in it for the coax(es) to go through.
I put 1 wrap of coax seal on each coax and squish them together.
Then I position the bundle in the hole and seal it all up with coax seal.
No critters and no moisture.
Done that at two locations now.
If your PVC pipe comes straight out of the outside wall, it's easier to put
(1 or 2) 45 degree angles, then the cap.
The idea is to have the coax coming out of the pipe in a straight line with
the coax run.

I have found that stuffing a wad of steel wool in the open ends helps
keep munching critters at bay! I do that for a PVC thru the wall pipe
coming into my shack from outside. It will turn into a rusty mess in
the ground however.

Thanks, Ronnie. I agree, it will get moisture no matter due to
condensation, so, I think my main concern is to keep critters out of the
PVC.

Geoff is totally on the money here I have done the same thing using pvc
and water pressure to blow a hole under a driveway! It works well except
for the occasional root, and hard red clay!!
As for sealing the pvc or whatever, regardless, its going to get
moisture in it anyway due to condensation!
