I have found that stuffing a wad of steel wool in the open ends helps
keep munching critters at bay! I do that for a PVC thru the wall pipe
coming into my shack from outside. It will turn into a rusty mess in
the ground however.

Thanks, Ronnie. I agree, it will get moisture no matter due to
condensation, so, I think my main concern is to keep critters out of the
PVC.

Geoff is totally on the money here I have done the same thing using pvc
and water pressure to blow a hole under a driveway! It works well except
for the occasional root, and hard red clay!!
As for sealing the pvc or whatever, regardless, its going to get
moisture in it anyway due to condensation!
