[AMRadio] Where is you?

Cheesecake and Sangria?
What a life!
OK, I'll go into lurking mode around 7pm tonight just above 3700. Today,
I'm trying to fix an Autek computing wattmeter that Pinoccio sold me at
Shelby.
We never did get the coffee grinder going at the fest. Too many
distractions: Pizza, tire kickers, radio blah blah and beautiful girls to
gawk at.
Probably the best fest I have ever attended.

I never did get to see you cranking the genny. Every time we came by
you were hooking or unhooking cables. Was a good time!

I wasn't on too late last night Greg, spent some quality time with the
little lady since she made a nice pitcher of sangria to go with
dinner. Closed down around 7 or 8PM after talking with Dave. Came back
out around 11:30 and heard Jack K9ACT calling CQ, but he was too close
to the Advanced Class band edge at 3702, so I didn't bother to fire
the transmitter back up and instead shut off the receiver, went in the
house and tuned in WSM on 650 for some bluegrass.

Not sure what tonight will bring for me, probably some activity
between 4-10PM, maybe later of things are hoppin'. There's a great
group on 3705 most afternoons out of VA who come in great and should
hear you with no trouble. They get back on in the early evenings for a
while. Another group hangs out around 3710, and the VE gang north of
the border can often be found on or around 3725. It's all in the
timing, of course. (o:

I'll drop you a note later once I'm done with my projects outdoors.
Had to deal with some tree limbs earlier and now need to finish taking
down the 40m dipole which is stuck in the pecan tree, so it can get
rebuilt at NEAR-Fest. Just as soon as I finish my cheesecake lunch,
that is.
