I agree Todd, and I hasten to add in fairness that I purchased a new h.v.
transformer from Jeff d/b/a/ Dahl (made by Magcap) last year to my spec's
and he was straightforward, clear, cooperative and professional.   It was a
120 - 0 - 120 to 2.25 KV 1.5 A CCS potted plate transformer weighing in at
about 75 lbs.  It wasn't cheap (new iron never is) but it is a nice
transformer.
