There are suckers born every minute. A pair of 3-500s will make 800 watts
with about 70 watts in! Notice down the way they show a chart where more
drive will produce several kw. I was under the impression that you cannot
drive the 3-500s with much more than 100 watts. I really believe this is
pure junk. Ceramic tubes can produce a lot more power simply and require
less drive. CB'ers don't know how to build an amp correctly. RF engineers
excepted.
I expect a single 3cx800 can make that much power with 40 watts drive. Want
more with a single tube use a 3cx1500. In my opinion using that many tubes
is very inefficient.
