I'll only make ONE statement.

Ron Lawrence, W4RON, is NOT a straight up "model" citizen.

I've read his site.  It is erroneous.  *IF* indeed the time he claims to 
have become a licensed Amateur Radio Operator *is* correct, then his 
operations during the period of 1980 through the early part of 1982 HE 
OPERATED AS NE4S without a license.

Take it for what it is worth and what you paid for it.

My call at that time was KA4PBD, and was licensed as a General on 
October 31, 1980.
