Jerry,

I'm no Professor!  I just know exactly what the original picture you 
referred to had in it.

( I "cheated" and copied it to my laptop!)

On the left bottom, is a Mohawk. The bottom middle is the Warrior.  The 
bottom right is the Apache.

The top row is a Marauder and an SB-10 SSB adapter.

My suggestions are NOT the only way to get there!  Larry, NE1S, has his 
suggestion.  That would require an external audio amplifier, and 
changing the 6CA7s to 6146s.

Either will get you there.  Some comes down to what you "can" afford, 
AND how comfortable are you with modifying tube type equipment.

Your going to need to provide us with more info.

Then again, going to Nearfest first "may" be the best way too start.  
You are already on AM with the 746.
