Jerry,
You are getting good advice - so far!
One other made comment regarding the Apache. It has a "well earned"
nickname. * Scratchy Apache *
It take a bunch of work reworking the audio circuitry to make it sound
like "you" REALLY sound.
It also REALLY needs negative feedback added in.
I would advise you to get another amp again, in lieu of getting the
Apache/Warrior/an the SSB adapter!
You would do far better with the Icom and an amp!
Yep! Go to NEARFEST!
Listen to the "Tall Ships", (BIG Signals), on the AM mode. Listen to
the sound.
The Apache WON'T do that without a BUNCH of work! And if that work
isn't done right, you WILL get visits from neighbors!
