I would say that there are too many variables to make a definate statement
...First place ,if transmitter is well designed, properly installed with
perfect shielding, perfect bonding good quality feedline a resonant antenna
with ,say 50 feed of spacing from antenna to the pacemaker ,and runnung
legal limit on AM ,the person would probably be safe.. what I would be
concerned about in using a pacemaker is: Recently I saw a person with a
3000 watts output on a mobile amplifier on 27 mhz,, If you were standing
on sidewalk ,light changes ,you are 4 feet from his verticle antenna ,he
fires it off at 3000 watts ,, that could be a "near field
"disastor..Probably toast the pacemaker ,wrist watch, cell phone, and all
other valuable possesions,if you git my drift..Harold W4PQW... Original
