Joe,

In reply to your AM Radio post, I do have an RME-45 in my collection.  It's not my favorite receiver for several reasons, the bfo injection is poor to non-existent and I've never been able to get it right, the crystal filter is lacking - pwerhaps it would improve if I demounted the crystal and cleaned it - and the dial gears are worn and I've got a spot around 7045 kc that moves the dial off frequency if I leave my hand off the knob.
