[AMRadio] Tube checker vs unknown tube

Has anybody figured out a rule of thumb for checking tubes you have no tube checker data for?  Of course you figure out the basing, but sorting out what the bias should be set for is a mystery to me.  I have put in a tube and set up the checker and compared the same tube to another, you can find a weak one that way, but I only have one 6DJ7, with nothing to compare it to.
