I have a question I hope someone will answer. I need to know the output frequencies from the vfo in the 3 different positions. These rigs were butchered up badly by CBers and I know that because the funny little chunk of metal that changes the vfo from the bandswitch was missing on one and loose on the other. They were both stuck in the 11 meter position. The outputs I get are ok for 160 and 80 meters. When I switch to 40 the output is 7.1 and stays there until the 10 meter band is selected and then goes to 14 . It is 13 when 11 meters is selected. I think by looking at the manual the second position is supposed to be in the 7.1 range from 40 thru 10 meters and the doubler gets you up to the right frequency. Any help appreciated.

I hate doing this without referring to the manual, and you can (should)
do that as well as I.

But since I've seen no responses to your specific question from memory I
BELIEVE the following to be correct:

1) on 160M and 80M, VFO output is on 160M

2) on 40M, 20M, 15M, and 10M VFO output is on 40M

3) on 11M, VFO output is in the vicinity of 6-odd MHz.

Do yourself a favor and download the manual from
http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/. Sounds like you'll need it.
