Pin 2 is usually used for push-to-talk. that means that they apply 124VDC
to the top of transmit relay,bottom of relay winding goes to mic connector
pin 2 ,,when you press the mic transmit button,pin 2 goes to ground ,closing
the relay and going into transmit mode..I think this is a normal
siyuation..W4PQW
