Subject: [Boatanchors] Belton, TX Hamfest Boatanchor Pictures
Hello, all,
Last weekend, I attended the Belton, Texas hamfest and took pictures of many
classic boatanchor radios. You can view them on the Picasa web site at:
http://picasaweb.google.com/MMDUES/BeltonTXHamfestApril2010#
The Multi Elmac PMR-6A (with the mobile vibrator power supply) and the
Hammarlund Super Pro SP-210LX (BC-779) followed me home. The Super Pro was
complete and unmortified, less power supply (I have an extra). I paid $30.00
for it and $30.00 for the Elmac receiver and power supply.
The Eldico transmitter and accessories went for $150.00 ! I considered
buying it. Built like a tank - very much like Collins gear.
There were two Collins R-390(A) receivers With meters And Covers for $550.00
each. For the most part, radios were fairly reasonably priced, however, the
Collins 75A-4 had a $1475.00 price tag on it.
This is my first time using Picasa, so I hope this works for you.
73,
Marshall M. Dues, K5MMD
