Hey Joe,
Another idea is these markers they use for buried pipe and the like are these plastic white sticks.
They are slightly larger in diameter, but can be honed down to fit.

Check out the local hobby shops, 1/8 inch diameter white plastic rod. Cut it to length and glue.

Does anyone out there know where I can get some of the white pointer indicators that go into the knobs on the EF Johnson transmitters?? If anyone has any ideas please reply to me here or by my email. Any suggestion would be greatly appriciated.
