Bob,
I also have a Collins R388 that I love and use with my restored 200V. Don't
know where yours came back from but I would like to highly recommend Chuck
Felton in Wyoming to hot rod your 388. Selectable filters and SSB as nice
as my other radio. Am that's unbelievable with his designed speaker. What a
labor of love from a single man shop. You have to be patient because the
line is long.
