The L4B will work well, mine does. Drive it with no more than about 25W maximum. This will get you about 250W out (+/-)from the amp, which is more than enough, and close to the maximum ratings of the tubes. My L4B has improvements from Harbach and the Heathkit Shop, upgraded power supplies, step-start, bias, etc. Ed, VA3ES
