Bill - AD5OL, thanks for the input and info.... I gathered from the manual that proper neutralization was SUPER critical.

First I have to replace the blown filament Xformer, and the leaky Pi cap....
It'll be a while till she's talking!

OK, Am I the only Chief Engineer who has "turtle waxed" the Xmitter when bored?

At my old station I used to lay on a few coats of car wax whenever I was bored.... Is it only me? :-)
