I picked up a s-38 Hallicrafters which a friend saw me with just after I  
purchased it for $15. He insited I not plug it in until it was worked on (caps  
and resisters changed). He then sold me a complete set of replacement tubes he  
bought at the same hamfester. Even if i don't get it fixed up it still looks  
great even for static display. 73, Steve
