[AMRadio] Are there commercial made amps that operate better for AMthan others?

operation.  Are there some that are made that are better than others for use 
on AM and which ones to avoid."

For over 5 years I've used a couple of Ameritron AL-1200's on 160-80-40 AM 
with good results.
