You're not alone, Jim.  My first knowledge of cheater cords and the like
came in 1959.  Geez.. That was a long time ago.  I guess as long as we stay
on the blade side of the grass we're okay.  ;-)

Gosh now I feel old/odd.  My first job outside the family business was 
helping  in a TV repair shop, about 1954.  You guys speak as if you 
barely remember.
