I was wrong on my assumption about the 30S-1 being capable of legal-limit AM output. I talked with a ham friend who has considerable experience with that amp, and the power supply and tank circuits won't handle it. My apologies to Rob, K5UJ, and others. The best thing to do is get a tube-type BC transmitter and convert it to 160/75m.
