Don't think those plates are platinum...

the filament is made of thoriated tungsten.

The spec sheet doesn't say what material the plate is made of.

75TH/TL, 100TH/TL, 152TH, 250TH/TL, 304TH/TL, 450TH/L, 750TH, 1000TH
