It's a piezo element, so don't put any voltage on it, i.e. from a VOM. Best tested with a scope or amplifier. I personally use a Rad Shack self-contained battery run amp to test audio devices. Ed, VA3ES >OK, how do you test a D104 mic element to see if is bad? >Alan
