I have one of those heathkit adjustable power supplies,
0 to 450 volts, adjustable bias, 6 and 12 volts for filaments.
I also have the 0 to 50 volt @ 1.5 amps.
Both are VERY handy when playing around with experimental tube circuits.
I used them in designing and testing the homebrew tube
type superhet receivers.
I got them a long time ago, and despite lots of abuse, they still work,
incredible for heath stuff...
Get them, they are great.
Ebay maybe?

Subject: [AMRadio] WTB: power supply
Hi all,
I am looking for a power supply to do some tube-type experimenting. I
could use any of the following Heathkit power supplies or the equivalent,
i.e. 6/12 volt filament supply, 300-400 VDC at 100 ma or better,
preferably adjustable. Home brew OK. Thank you.
Heathkit supplies: IP-2717(A), SP-2717(A), PS-1, PS-2, PS-3, PS-4, IP-17,
IP-32.
