[AMRadio] TVI/BCI

About 12 years ago I built a PP pair or 450TH's, modulated by a pair of
304TL's.
I used "old" construction practices, and it got into everything in the
neighborhood, including a "talking stove" about a block away.
Of course, the thing made quite a bit of power. It's active life was very
short.

In the mid 70's when I was still living with my parents, I fired up my
newly-built SB-220 amplifier and put it on the air for a while. The next
day our next door neighbor told me that I was causing his bathroom lights to
glow on and off whenever I transmitted.

Me too, Geoff - I have no desire to get my WACCA (Worked All Cheap
Chinese Appliances) award. I thought it was bad 15 years ago, I can't
imagine how much worse things have gotten with all of the new
plug-n-play crap around.
