Don:
The biggest difference in DX 100s is the use of a step cap in the output
circuit like the Johnson Valiant used. If you have it there will be a step
switch to increase the values.
There was a mod kit sold to replace those caps with a variable one and later
versions may have the variable cap furnished with it.
That is about the only differences in DX 100s until you get into the B model
and they used 6146s as modulators in place of the 1625s.
Which version do you have?

Subject: [AMRadio] WTD: DX-100 Manual and knob
I need a DX-100 manual copy. But weren't there different versions of this
TX? Are the differences such that I need to make sure the manual I get
matches the version I have? How do I tell which version I have?
This one also has an unoriginal knob in the center below the dial. If anyone
has an original knob, I could use that too.
Thanks.
