  Don, what I discovered with this unit, among other things, is that the
high voltage cabling around the 200 watt resistor located on the top right
of the transmitter had been ruined when the insulations came in contact with
that bank of dropping resistors.  I believe that this bank of resistors is
used to drop the high voltage when going to low power.  I believe that a
tiedown clamp broke causing the high voltage wiring to droop onto the
resistors.

  Also, I wonder what your overall impressions were of the 20V-3.  It is
certainly a wonderfully engineered and good looking transmitter.
