What's the deal with these...this ad was recently posted to some of the lists. I have some of these caps. But I heard that these were not designed for continuous duty--they came out of laser printers or copiers or some such. So my understanding is that these have to be substantially de-rated for conventional BA HV power supply use. Doe anyone know what the facts are about these caps (which seem to be flooding the market).
Oil-filled capacitors, non-PCB, brand new recent manufactured.
50 uF at 5000V DC - Dimensions are 3-3/4" X 4-5/8" X 6-1/2" tall
plus 1" ceramic bolt posts.
