That is a major help! I might assume that since I do not have the companion
transmitter, I can tie B+ to pin 3 of the connector as well? (And recall this switching
in case I want to mate the receiver to a transmitter of whatever flavor at another
time).
One more question regarding the radio is the mating female connector to build a
cable. Looking through the DigiKey catalog, it looks like Amphenol, AMP, and
Cannon all make potential mates for the TCS receiver. I always get a bit confused
trying to sort through the connector info in the catalog though. Does somebody
know what series (current manufacture) of the connector I need?
