RTTY BA INFO NEEDED
I picked up the folloing 2 BA RTTY items over the
wekend and would like to get some documentation on
them...
Boehme Frequency Shift Converter Type 5-C. This is a
10.5 inch black rackmount unit with a 2 inch scope for
a tuning indicator. It has 16 tubes including a string
of 4 6Y6's. Very impressively built--looks like it
should be military but has no mil tag. The front panel
is 1/4" thick aluminum!
Type CRV-35049-A Tone Keyer, part of Model RDM radio
equipment, made by RCA. On the back it has a paper tag
that says "Model TK-43B Tone Keyer" and one of those
old RCA unit numbers: MI-17106-B. It is a 7" high gray
rackmount. Was this designed for repeater service?
It seems to have connections and controls for taking a
"Diode Load" signal from 3 receivers. This looks like
a top quality piece of gear.
Any help with either of these would be appreciated.
Thanks.
