Wonderful site, those tubes glowing. Ceramic tubes just don't have
the charisma and solid state, what a laugh. But to hit the plate
switch and see the wattmeter go up to 10 KW or more is a real
charge.
I worked for KOMA in OKC back in the 60s when they had a WE 50 KW
water cooled transmitter. Biggest problem was keeping water in the
tank.
Be sure you know a nice electrician. 220 single or three phase
installation is expensive.
