Sure do.   I modified my Viking II some time ago to run the 807 modulators 
AB2.   Went the whole route; heavier driver xformer, 6AQ5 driver wid neg 
feedback, regulated screen and bias supplies.   Worked FB.   Did another V II 
once using EL34s leaving the audio chain stock up to the mod grids.   Worked 
just as well and was a lot easier to pull off.   Agree 6146s would have given 
the same results.

Anyway, see where the gentleman found an exact replacement for his zorched 
transformer.   Always nice to see a happy ending.
