It's been my experience that letting it dry at room temperature results in
big patches that don't wrinkle. Wx permitting sun drying works well.
Otherwise I apply some external
heat to make the texture uniform.
Does anyone know how they produced wrinkle finish in the old days before
the 'advent of aerosol cans and speciality paints? I have noticed a
distinct difference between pre WWII finish and present day finish.
