It sounds like a HF-300.  Wonder if yours are any good?  These tubes are 
notorious for being duds, since nowadays  they are primarily used in rf 
heating devices, and are usually run until the output has dropped off 
substantially, leaving them useless for transmitter applications. In my 
experience, most used tubes at hamfests, etc run at about a 35-50% dud rate. 
  HF-300's and equivalents that I have acquired have run at a dud rate more 
like 85%.  I use these in my transmitter and always have an eye out for 
them.  I have seen a lot of them on e-Pay going at  ridiculous prices sold  
"as is".  I wouldn't buy one for any substantial sum of money unless I were 
assured a refund if the tubes weren't fully satisfactory.
