The bands have been dead around here as well.
I have not had much time to play radio, but did manage to fix my
40 meter antenna that fell down....its a bit higher now,
so I expect a big 10DB of gain from the extra 4 feet!

Even when I hear someone on 40, they were weak...maybe
80 meters will be coming back during the day soon...

I suspect everyone is busy with yard work/house work/car work
fishing, etc...
